Favorite Game Genre: I enjoy medieval role playing games with a fine mix of problem solving and battling.   I also like battle and war simulation games.

Programming Favorites: I program mostly with C++, OpenGL, SQL, and Java.


Other Favorites: Although I'm not an expert at creating 3D models with 3D Studio Max, I have been using it quite a bit lately and hope to become much better at creating realistic 3D models.

Alias or Nick: Ishknock and MerlinLSD...I don't use LSD but have always thought that a wizard on LSD would be funny.

Background Information:
Dan is currently a graduate student at the University of Northern Iowa studying Computer Science with an emphasis on Game Design and 3D graphics. Dans's recent background in game programming consists of his work on a multiplayer 3d tank combat title called Armored Battalion. The game was released as shareware in 1999. It featured support for 8 player combat, with a number of different game types. He also made 2D action game in highschool, but the name and content can not be mentioned here.
